This microphone can be attached to the iPhone for broadcast quality audio
How awful is the mic on the iPhone? Well pretty damn awful if you ask me. It sure as heck won’t cut it for good quality audio for podcasting or for video recording. So along comes Røde with a great idea. They made a high quality microphone that plugs right into your iphone 30 pin connector and gives you the ability to record broadcast quality audio and not have to carry around another device for audio recording. No really they did. I had the pleasure of meeting with Ryan Burke at the Røde booth at CES who gave me all the details. Watch the video for more details:
