Nest recalls over 400,000 Protect alarms due to Wave feature issues

Nest, the smart house device company purchased by Google in January, is recalling all of its Protect devices over concerns that the alarm won’t sound properly. The recall covers all of the approximately 440,000 Protect units according to the recall listing from the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC). The company had announced in April that it would halt sales of the smoke and carbon monoxide alarm over issues with one of its features….
