Apple is considering hiring someone from outside the company to replace outgoing communications head Katie Cotton, sources say. Although there reportedly internal candidates as well, CEO Tim Cook is said to be leading a search for “high-profile” outside candidates that might put a “friendlier” face on Apple PR.
