A new report says that at least two of the three Apple-approved vendors for Bluetooth and Wi-Fi chips that feature Apple’s HomeKit embedded in the processors are now shipping the components to home appliance manufacturers. The news, confirmed by Forbes, suggests that products taking advantage of HomeKit technology should be appearing more commonly in the market over the course of the next few months.
