The Apple TV has been quietly updated with another new app channel, CBS News. The app is entirely free, and in fact features CBSN, a newly-launched streaming service. CBSN coverage is live and anchored between 9AM and 12AM Eastern time every weekday; in the event of special reports or breaking news, it will offer simulcasts with CBS News itself. The service is ad-supported in the form of commercials between segments, and should pull in material from CBS-owned sources such as CNET and Entertainment Tonight….
