I once heard that most people will stand in line just because there is one without question. So I find it interesting that a spontaneous line formed outside of Apple’s fifth ave. store in NYC for no apparent reason. according to the Mac NN story “Some participants in the line are said to have been confused as to why they were there, while a few claimed to be waiting for a 3G iPhone, even though it is only expected to be revealed at WWDC on June 9th, and shipped later that month.”
All I can say is wow.

Wow is right. I hate waiting in line, even if I know ahead of time that I’ll be waiting in line, for something that I know will always require waiting in line. Make sense? 🙂
