Kenwood isn’t planning any aftermarket CarPlay add-ons for 2014, says a marketing manager for the company, Scott Caswell. He in fact suggests that Apple could be reserving CarPlay as a perk for automakers, who may want it to entice new car buyers. The manager adds, though, that Kenwood products already support some subsets of CarPlay, like Siri and media playback.
