A startup that creates filters that map to a user’s face to change their appearance has been acquired by Facebook. Masquerade, creators of the MSQRD app, has been bought for an undisclosed amount by the social network, with the expectation its face-altering technology will be integrated into other Facebook video services and apps, potentially even Instagram, to give Facebook users more fun options when creating their own videos to upload….
